Cum să scrii o poveste pentru examenul Cambridge PET
Scrierea unei povești este una dintre sarcinile opționale la proba de Writing a examenului PET (Cambridge B1). Deși mulți elevi se tem de această parte, este mai simplu decât pare dacă urmezi câțiva pași de bază. Iată cum să structurezi o poveste, ce greșeli să eviți și exemple clare care te pot ajuta.
1. Citește cu atenție cerința
Exemplu de cerință:
Write a story which begins with the sentence: “It was the best day of my life.”
✅ Exemplu corect:
It was the best day of my life. Everything started when I woke up and saw the sun shining through the window. I was going to my first concert ever – my favorite band was finally coming to my city!
❌ Greșeală frecventă:
It was the best day of my life. I woke up and everything was wrong. I missed the bus, failed a test and my dog ran away. → Textul nu se potrivește cu ideea de „cea mai bună zi”.
2. Organizează povestea în 3 părți (Introducere – Cuprins – Încheiere)
✅ Exemplu de structură clară:
Introducere:
Last summer, I went camping in the mountains with my cousin Alex. We were excited because it was our first time sleeping in tents, far from the city.
Cuprins:
On the second night, we heard strange noises near the tent. At first, we thought it was just the wind, but then we saw two glowing eyes in the dark! We were terrified. Alex grabbed a flashlight and we slowly opened the tent… It was a small, lost puppy!
Încheiere:
We fed him and kept him warm all night. The next day, we found his owner in the nearby village. It turned out the dog had been missing for three days. We were so happy to help!
❌ Greșeală frecventă: Poveste fără început sau final clar:
We went camping. Something happened at night. It was scary. We found a dog. That’s all.
3. Folosește timpuri verbale corecte (majoritatea la trecut)
✅ Exemplu cu timpurile corecte:
We arrived at the park late in the afternoon. The sun was setting and the sky looked amazing. While we were looking for a good place to sit, I suddenly remembered I had left the tickets at home!
Timpuri folosite:
- Past Simple: arrived, remembered
- Past Continuous: were looking
- Past Perfect: had left
4. Adaugă detalii interesante
✅ Exemplu cu detalii vii:
The haunted house stood at the edge of the village. Its windows were broken, and the roof looked like it could fall any second. As I stepped inside, the air was cold and filled with dust. I could hear the floor creaking with every move I made.
Detaliile exprimate prin adjective, adverbe si alte expresii creează o atmosferă specială și captiveză cititorul.
❌ Greșeală frecventă: Poveste prea generală:
I went to a scary house. It was old. I felt scared. Then I left. – nu transmite nicio emoție sau imagine clară.
5. Folosește conectori logici
✅ Exemplu cu conectori:
First, we packed our things. Then, we took the train to the city. After that, we walked to the stadium. Suddenly, I realized I had lost my ticket! Fortunately, my friend found it under the bench. Finally, we entered and enjoyed the concert.
Conectorii ajută la legarea ideilor: First, Then, After that, Suddenly, Finally, Fortunately.
❌ Greșeală frecventă: Lipsa conectorilor:
We packed. We took the train. We walked. I lost my ticket. My friend found it. We entered. → sună robotic, nelegat.
6. Revizuiește la final
Verifică dacă ai:
- scris propoziția cerută
- folosit corect timpurile
- ortografie și punctuație corecte
Acum încearcă și tu! Pune în practică sfaturile de mai sus si încearcă să scrii o poveste de 100 de cuvinte cu următorul început:
It was a cold, rainy evening when I found the old letter in the attic.
